So, I know I haven't been here in a while...

But with the New Year, I decided that it was a god time for a "star over" kind of deal.

So, today I'm going to review the book "My True Love Gave to Me" by a bunch of different authors.

Lets first begin with the ratings for each story:

 - Midnight's, by Rainbow Rowell (5/5 stars)

 - The Lady and the Fox, by Kelly Link (4.5/5 stars)

 - Angels in the Snow, by Matt de la Penã (5/5 stars)

 - Polaris is where you'll find me, by Jenny Han (3/5 stars)

 - It's a Christmas Miracle, Charlie Brown, by Stephanie Perkins (4/5 stars)

 - Your temporary Santa, by David Levithan (3/5 stars)

 - Krampulauf, by Holly Black (2.5/5 stars)

 - What the hell have you done, Sophie Roth?, by Gale Forman (3/5 stars)

 - Welcome to Christmas, CA, by Kristen White (4/5 stars)

 - Star of Bethelehem, by Ally Carter (3.5/5 stars)

 - The girl who woke the dreams, by Lani Taylor (1/5 stars)

So, my general rating is: 4 stars!

The worst story was the final one... I didn't understand it at all...

But it was an enjoyable read and some of those story's were so beautiful...

I hope to read more stuff from some of these authors.

Hope you liked this review!

O Sorriso das Estrelas - Nicholas Sparks

So, I just finished this book and I have some things to say.

I had a wonderful time reading this book, but I had some issues with it.

The writing style was beautiful, the placement of the story was just so great. A love story is meant to be on a beach or island. But I couldn't connect with the main character's. I don't know if it's because of the age difference between me and the character's. The main woman was 62, so.. That may have been the problem.

The love story in is entirety was great! But I really struggled to connect with the character's.

But, in general, it was a great read for summer and a very short book.

Nicholas Sparks tends to amaze me every time I read a book written by him. Hes writing style is just so beautiful and elegant and... All the good stuff!

This book was a very good representation of a love that survives everything, even the things that we can not run from. And the character's feel that they can overcome everything because of the love they feel for each other.

Very nice and quick read.

Review - Fortune's Rocks, by Anita Shreve

Fortune's Rocks - Anita Shreve

Unfortunately I didn't enjoy at all this book.

The writing was doll and the main character was just a pain.

The placement of this book was great, the mental images of the beach and the village were very beautiful.

But the book was way to long. It needed to end somewhere in the meddle of it. I don't want to do a very spoiler review because I think you can judge by yourself if you like this book or not.

The history in the book was just... to long. That's my honest opinion.

This book is about a girl named Olympia, who fall's in love with a man with 41 year's of age. She is only fifteen. And this man is married and has 4 children. And the book tells the story of the romance that was born between them and the consequences of that romance.

I gave this book 2 out of 5 stars. Really disappointing.

But, I encourage you to try it for yourself, because with book's, the opinion's may be very different from person to person.

I'm not liking this book that much... but will see. It may surprise me :)

Dear John

Dear John - Nicholas Sparks

This book was very very good. I love the writing of Nicholas Sparks. In fact, I am in a Nicholas Sparks mood right now.. I already made a reservation for two of is books in my library :) I'm very excited to read more of this author novel's. This book is a very beautiful love story about a guy who really learns the true meaning of the word love. And heartbreak. And lost.

Is just a bundle of emotions!

The writing is just gorgeous and very entertaining :)

I can't wait to read more of his book's.
